With the holiday crush comes parties, get-togethers, and gift ideas that don’t have to break the bank. Most people appreciate something from the heart, and nothing embodies that more than something baked with love in the kitchen. It’s something we get to experience every day at our Pirouline bakery in Madison, Mississippi. Chances are, you want to show up to your event or gathering with a homemade treat, but you often don’t have the time to enjoy a full day baking like our family does!
You don’t have to spend hours in the kitchen to make a holiday treat. Our savory Pirouline wafers are the perfect ingredient to take your baked goods up a notch. And the best part, most of our recipes will take you an hour or less.
Let’s start with this holiday classic, our Pirouline Cookie Christmas House. You’ll only need five ingredients, and the whole process should take about an hour. Make sure to pick up some tasty mortar (frosting) and use it to hold your logs (Pirouline wafers) together. Once your house is complete, decorate to your heart’s desire.
If an hour seems too long, we’ve got an even faster recipe that will still look like you spent hours in the kitchen. Our Pirouline Gingerbread Trees will only take 45 minutes, but the trick is putting your Pirouline sticks in the freezer first. This way, they’re chilled before they’re placed in the oven to bake. You can even get the kids to help decorate once they’ve cooled.
Didn’t think it could get any easier? Well, it can. Try 10 minutes and just four ingredients for our Chocolate Caramel Pirouline Cookie Bark. Spread melted chocolate on wax paper, then sprinkle with caramel pieces, white chocolate chips, and Pirouline cookies. Can you still call this homemade? We think so.
