There’s a reason your mouth waters when you see a picture of a Pirouline, and we’re sharing the secret ingredient with you.

At Pirouline, we have rarely taken a flat lay image of our wafers that we didn’t love. Like everything we do at the bakery, each photo is important and has to represent the freshest rolled wafer. To master the perfect flat lay, you have to think of the scene. This could be next to your computer at work for your 2:00 p.m. pick me up, or it can be seasonal with fun props. Next up, the lighting is everything! Setting up to shoot it in a bright space will present the best opportunity for a colorful image. Last but not least, you must shoot your layout from above.
We pass no judgments on your everyday selfie-takers and especially love when they include Piroulines. Grab your smartphone and a friend to #shareaswirl to capture the magical moment. Step one is holding the phone higher than your heads. Step two is angling the phone down. Step three, say cheese! If you need a backup, you can always invest in a selfie stick.
Some of the most common images we receive are of the incredible desserts that are baked, topped, and paired with Pirouline. If your dessert features our wafers inside, make sure to cut a slice so we can see the effort put into the sweet treat. It also helps to stage your creation on a plate for serving. The presentation is everything!
