WE STAND BEHIND OUR COMMUNITY
Part of Our American Dream
Almost forty years ago, a man and a woman made a decision to raise their family and build their life in America, harnessing their skills, their passions and their sheer force of will to create a new company called Pirouline.
They built Pirouline with their bare hands (literally), pouring the bakery foundation, raising the walls, designing the equipment. They took the most famous of his family’s wonderful cookies and reinvented it for the American market, creating an experience no one here had ever had before and, along the way, a home for hundreds of American workers.
And in doing so, they honored the past, taking the legacy of Peter’s forefathers, and transforming it into a promise for tomorrow and a commitment to the team who will get us there.
This is what the American Dream looks like. It is simply the story of ordinary people coming together to build a better, richer, fuller life for themselves, and then inviting the next generation of dreamers to join them and share in that future.
OMS
In 2014, a member of the Pirouline family was diagnosed with Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome (OMS). OMS is a rare, orphan disease primarily impacting children between the ages of 1-5 years old. OMS is an autoimmune disease suspected to occur when the immune system tries to battle a cancer and gets confused, attacking the brain instead. Left untreated, OMS warriors will likely have deficiencies in speech, physical activities, learning, and other general life skills.
Upon learning about this tragic disease and lack of available resources, we knew we had to help. We reached out to the OMSLife Foundation to partner with them on raising awareness and funds to find a cure for OMS.
100%
of the money raised
goes to fighting for OMS
The OMSLife Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was created to raise awareness of OMS, maintain a support network for caregivers, and fund research for a cure. Learn more about The OMSLife Foundation by visiting OMSLifeFoundation.org.
Over the last several years, Pirouline has raised money and awareness for OMS through various events. Most recently, the 2019 80’s Flashback Benefit that was held in Jackson, MS where over $15,000 was raised. As we continue to grow our fundraising efforts, we ask for your support. Some new plans are in the works but until they are finalized, we hope you’ll join us in donating to OMS through OMSLifeFoundation.org.

madcaap.org
Pirouline has been a supporter of MadCAAP for many years. From volunteering at the local food pantry to adopting families at Christmas time, we believe in helping out those in need, especially in our local community. We also help sponsor their largest fundraiser, Food For Thought. This event takes place in the Madison community each year in the fall. Local restaurants set up tents and all who attend are able to taste bites of their best dishes, participate in a silent auction and listen to live music. Donation of 3D Printers to Local Schools
