Steps to Complete

Step 1

1. Use a large kitchen knife to carefully cut a styrofoam ball in half.

Step 2

2. Cut tissue paper into 1" strips and glue them over the styrofoam. I tried a couple of different glues and I found the *Tombow MONO Aqua Liquid Glue worked the best for me.

Keep gluing on tissue paper until you have the styrofoam covered. Let dry.

Step 3

3. Next use hot glue to adhere a piece of felt around the tin. You can also cut a strip of felt and cut slit into it to add as fringe.

Step 4

4. Hot glue a 1/2" strip of felt around the side edge of the tin lid as well.

Step 5

5. Apply a generous amount of hot glue to the top of the lid, and adhere it to the bottom of the styrofoam mushroom. Press and hold it until the hot glue dries.
